Sketching while I work
Here's a sampling of pages from a notepad that I've been sketching on over the past few weeks at work. It was a seasonal gig before I started a teaching job in January, and I was basically answering customer service calls for people who had defective or damaged toys. Exciting stuff. Even though it isn't an art related job at least I wasn't breaking my back like I was a few months ago.
The good thing about this job (compared to previous jobs) is that I was able to draw during and inbetween calls, which helped me to retain my sanity when very angry people called. I hope you get a kick out of these sketches :D
P.S. One of these pages is not like the other...I was drawing on this great paper that my girlfriend got from work that is just lovely for drawing on. I use it all the time when I'm at home in front of my computer (which hasn't been very often lately).

great studies man! good old fashioned line paper,
keep it up!
These are phenomenal! (I probably spelled that wrong) Mucho impressed.
Rob - Thanks! Whenever I draw on lined paper I always figure that I won't end up keeping the drawings, so I end up drawing better because I'm not worried about keeping them! Ha!
Avi - Whoa! "phenomenal"?! High praise coming from someone as adept at the ol' pencil and paper game! Thank you! How's work going? We should chat soon!
I'm liking what i see. You can see some confidence building up in some of those sketches.
Hey Greg! Thanks for the comment! I'm glad to see that you have a blog going now! I can't wait to see more of your stuff!!
Just added your blog to my Google Reader feed so I can keep up to date with your stuff. I've got a art blog going on blogspot now, so that should be good.
